Fulfilling a leading position as an Outreach Coordinator on the DRUUMM Steering Committee. Tasked with providing visionary, strategic, and responsible leadership. This includes fulfilling organizational goals, guiding events, hosting trainings, facilitating conferences, and building membership. Serving as key organizer, facilitator, and speaker in the UU Vigils for Gaza hosted by DRUUMM. Assisting in generating publications as co-editor of the DRUUMM Beat Newsletter and being a keynote speaker at retreats. Restarting and leading the DRUUMM Book Club: reading books geared towards social justice, civil rights, dismantling oppression, understanding colonialism, and facilitating the formation of revolutionary ideals.

This was an Arabic language short film directed, edited, produced, co-written, and acted by Devin in a first-year Arabic language course at the University of California, Berkeley. The film follows a man who is struggling to find happiness after his wide tragically passed away. It won an award in the Arabic Program, which exists within the Middle Eastern Languages & Cultures Department at UC Berkeley. "The Broken Camera" was widely praised by audience members and shown at a special event within the Arabic Program alongside other award winning films. This Arabic language short film produced by Devin can be viewed by clicking on the featured movie poster or title.
The Bayat Beat was a multi-generational podcast that Devin ran with his mother and grandmother from 2019 to 2023. It discussed everything from politics to religion and had a number of guests star on the show. Episodes of the show have been archived on YouTube and can be viewed by clicking on the logo icon.
